Sofia Pernas is a Moroccan-born actress whose family was based in Fes. The actress traveled the globe before settling down at Los Angeles. Pernas initially had an interest in reporting. However, her world was changed after she met the modeling agency and an acting agency who launched her career. Her character is on the show The Brave. At the age of five She moved to the United States and grew to be a part of Orange County. She is multilingual, as both her Moroccan mother and Spanish father. To speak four different languages, she's studied Arabic, English Spanish, and German. Once she was recognized by her former employer, her profession changed from journalist to modeling and acting. She was Marisa on The Young and the Restless as well as starred with Gina Rodriguez and Justin Baldoni in the CW telenovela Jane the Virgin. In NBC's The Brave, she plays Hannah Rivera, a Defense Intelligence Agency participant.
