Video games were my first experience with video games. Many of them can be extremely violent. But Heavenly Sword (2007) is an exception. The player's friend who designed the game, and me, have had lengthy discussions. The goal he's trying to reach is to create a feeling in the player something. Yes, there's killing. It's in "Heavenly Sword" The character "Nariko" that I play is dedicated to safeguarding her family and, ultimately, this girl who has run away. This is a gorgeous game. The game goes beyond than a mere videogame. Nature is something that needs to be protected and taken care of. My friend would like to develop an activity where participants have a feeling. The game can bring people down through making them feel that they didn't succeed in trying to defend the people they loved. It's not "Pac-Man. In some cases, there's a line in the script that I can't imagine saying the line. If I approach for an American, they will say "Oh sure." This is how we speak in Australia." Here in Australia We say certain terms differently, like torch. If I asked "Can I get to torch?" It's a good question "Can I purchase the flashlight?" seems to have no effect.
